Length you want, a photo if you have one, and what the child tolerates (clippers, scissors, noise).

Scissors first if the child is nervous, clippers after; breaks when needed. Twenty minutes is enough.

Outline, symmetry and neckline checked before the cape comes off; the parent signs off.

How much is a kids haircut and how long does it take?
Book “Kids Haircut”: $25 CAD for 20 min on the current Setmore menu. Consultation is included, and Setmore confirms availability before you reserve.
Up to what age is the kids price?
The kids price is for young boys up to about 12. For a teenager who wants a precise fade or a specific style, book a Standard Haircut.
My child is scared of clippers. Is that a problem?
No. Youssef starts with scissors, explains each step and takes breaks. A good first experience matters more than a perfect cut.
Do you do fades for kids?
Yes, a taper or a soft fade. Very high skin fades are not recommended before the teens because they grow out badly and look harsh on a child’s face.
Can I book my son and myself back to back?
Yes. Book two consecutive appointments in Youssef’s Setmore schedule: Kids Haircut, then Standard Haircut or Skin Fade.
